To the Good Neighbor Baptist Church family, Friends, and Supporters:
It is with the love of God and Jesus joy that we greet each and everyone of you.
Beloveds. even in days as stressful as the ones we are experiencing presently. we have
learned to trust God. It is our "trust" that this writing finds all of you safe, secure, and at home.
As you may be very wen aware, we are living an experience that only comes once in
a lifetime. Yes, we are being tested, tried, and pushed, to new limits every day. The
Bible acknowledges our new reality by reminding us ,"knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience" (James 1:3). God's process of testing us according to the
Bible, is to allow for tribulations to come; knowing that, "tribulation develops patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope" (Romans 5:4). Then, when that happens, the result IS that "we trust God" even more, with a faith that's even stronger! A faith that keeps us alert for whatever God will do next.
Therefore, we encourage you to continue to fight the good fight of faith; knowing that God is in the process of strengthening of faith through our present circumstance.
Beloveds, we are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are: not crushed and we are not broken. We are perplexed and confused because we don't know why things are happening as they do, but we have not given up and we will not quit. The enemy has hunted us down and sent us home, but God has not abandoned us. We have gotten knocked down. but through God we are getting back up again, and again; and we keep on going! Fear is our enemy. But our "trust" is in God!
The GNBC Deacon board wants to reach out to you, to ensure that you know your spiritual family is standing with you; so please look forward to their phone call.
The GNBC trustee hoard will share logistical information ensuring that you are aware of the protocols that the church is following which speak to when we can come back together as a group. They will also inform you of the methods by which you can continue to financially support the work and ministry of GNBC.
Please continue to stay in touch with us through Facebook and on our Prayer Line
(605-313-4820x408721#), on Thursday evenings at 7 PM. and Sunday morning at 10 AM.
Beloveds, these are difficult days, but through trusting in God, together, we will get through them! We got a feeling everything is gonna be all right!
The grace of the lord Jesus be with you. Our love to all of you in Christ Jesus.
